Creativity is fueled by community; ideas are ignited by face to face interactions and collaboration. Although still relatively new to the Washington DC creative community, we are thrilled to be meeting so many new faces, and making new friendships. We are also honored to have been a part of a few events lately, one of which was Blog Brunch DC. J oy Jaynes Bythrow of Mornings Like These (remember her essay in Volume 01?) and Rebecca Gallop of A Daily Something launched this event to unite creative women in DC and the surrounding area for food, fellowship, and encouragement.

Held in the workspace of Sweet Root Village in beautiful Old Town Alexandria, we were thrilled to be able to sponsor the event along with Sweetroot Village, Lollia, Uncommon Goods, Rifle Paper Co., Dangerously Delicious Pies, Puree Juice, Cava Mezze, Seven Sundays, Out of the Box Bakery, and Goldilocks Goodies.
